This document sets out the purchase terms for managed hosting packages bought online through OpencartExtra.com: the packages and what they include, the terms available, installation and performance, the access model, backups, acceptable use, renewal, suspension and cancellation. It applies together with the Managed Hosting & Server Service Agreement.

1. Scope and relationship with other documents

These terms apply to the Starter, Growth and Business managed hosting packages ordered at https://www.opencartextra.com.

The technical content of the service, the availability target, security measures, maintenance windows and limits of liability are set out in detail in the Managed Hosting & Server Service Agreement. This document complements that agreement in the context of online purchase and is read together with it.

Where a matter is not covered by this document, the Managed Hosting & Server Service Agreement applies; the Distance Sales Agreement applies to payment and general provisions, and the Cancellation, Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy applies to refunds.

This document introduces no new service level undertaking; it summarises the existing undertakings in the context of purchase.

2. Packages and what they include

Three packages are offered: Starter (USD 29 per month), Growth (USD 59 per month) and Business (USD 119 per month). Prices exclude VAT.

Each package consists of a dedicated server installed, tuned and managed by us. An Nginx, PHP-FPM and Redis configuration tuned for OpenCart, an automatically renewing SSL certificate, continuous monitoring and a firewall are included in every package.

The resource and feature differences between the packages (vCPU, memory, disk, monthly traffic, number of stores, cache size, staging environment and backup retention) are shown in the comparison table on the hosting service page. The content of the package you select also appears in the order summary.

Every package includes one 20 GB mailbox. Additional mailboxes are added during the order at USD 2 per mailbox per month, excluding VAT.

No setup fee is charged and migration from your existing hosting provider is free of charge.

Packages do not include a domain registration. A domain name can be added as a separate item during the order, or your existing domain name can be used.

3. Available terms and payment

Hosting is purchased in advance for terms of 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months. No discount is applied for longer terms; the price is the monthly price multiplied by the number of months.

Value added tax at 20% is added to the price. Collection is made in Turkish lira using the foreign exchange selling rate of the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye at the time of the order; the rate applied and its date are shown in the order summary.

Payment is taken in a single instalment; instalment payments are not offered. Your card details are not stored and no automatic recurring charge is made.

Third-party infrastructure costs such as servers, licences and CDN are included in the package price. Requests for special resources or licences not included in the standard package are priced separately and submitted for your approval in advance.

Development work beyond installation, migration and routine administration is not included in the hosting price and is quoted separately at the hourly rate.

4. Installation, migration and the start of performance

Server installation starts once payment has been verified. Completing the installation and delivering the access details normally takes one to three business days.

We ask for the access details required to migrate your existing store by e-mail. Migration is rehearsed first; the final synchronisation and DNS switchover are then performed at a low-traffic hour to keep downtime to a minimum.

The migration period depends on the size of your store, the access restrictions of your current provider and DNS propagation time. Delays attributable to you, such as late delivery of access details, are not counted towards the performance period.

The purchased term starts on the day the server is opened for your use; the time taken for installation is not deducted from the purchased term.

Ensuring that the service with your current provider is not interrupted during migration, and that a backup of your data exists, is your responsibility.

5. Access model

The server is accessed over SFTP and through the management panel we provide. No third-party control panel such as cPanel or Plesk is offered.

This choice is made in order to preserve the server configuration tuned for OpenCart and to avoid the security and performance problems that control panels introduce.

Operating-system level administration of the server remains with us. If you notify us of additional access needs, the request is assessed separately; problems arising from changes made with any additional access granted fall outside the scope of the service.

Routine operations on the database and file system (taking backups, restoring, reviewing logs) are carried out by our team at your request.

Access details are given only to the people you have notified as authorised. Changes to the list of authorised people must be notified in writing.

6. Backups and restores

Backups are stored encrypted and in a location off the server.

Backup retention varies by package: on the Starter package daily backups are kept for 7 days, on the Growth package for 14 days, and on the Business package hourly database backups and daily full backups are kept for 30 days.

Restores from backups are carried out by our team at your request. Restore requests arising from your own error may be invoiced at the hourly rate; restores arising from a systemic problem are free of charge.

Backups are kept accessible for the duration of the service and for thirty days after it ends. At the end of that period backups are permanently deleted.

The backup service does not remove your responsibility to keep your own independent backups; we recommend keeping your own backup of critical data.

7. Acceptable use

Servers are used solely for your e-commerce store and directly related systems. Resale to third parties, shared hosting and general-purpose hosting are not permitted.

Hosting unlawful content, sending unsolicited bulk e-mail, distributing malware, publishing content that infringes copyright, mining cryptocurrency and launching attacks against third parties are prohibited.

Operations that consume server resources unusually (uncontrolled crawling jobs, heavy backup scripts, third-party load tests) must not be run without notifying us in advance.

In the event of a breach of these rules the service may be suspended, with prior notice where possible; in serious breaches notice is given afterwards.

The detail of the acceptable use rules is set out in the Managed Hosting & Server Service Agreement.

8. Resource usage and overage

The vCPU, memory, disk and monthly traffic limits of each package are shown in the table on the hosting service page.

If your usage continuously exceeds the limits we will inform you and propose a suitable capacity increase. An upgrade is priced by pro-rating the price difference over the remaining term.

In sudden load spikes a temporary resource increase may be applied in order to keep your store available; the cost of that increase is notified in advance before being passed on.

The service is not cut off automatically if the traffic limit is exceeded; you are informed first.

Requests to downgrade a package are applied from the following period, after a technical suitability review.

9. Mailboxes and e-mail delivery

Every package includes one 20 GB mailbox; additional mailboxes are added at USD 2 per month.

Mailboxes are provided for correspondence relating to the operation of your store. Sending bulk marketing e-mail through these mailboxes is not recommended, because it damages sending reputation and the deliverability of your store's order e-mails; a separate e-mail marketing service should be used for such sending.

If unsolicited bulk e-mail sending is detected, the mail service is suspended immediately.

Backing up mailbox content falls within the package backup policy; permanent archiving needs are assessed separately.

10. Domain names and DNS

A hosting package does not include a domain registration. A domain name can be added as a separate item during the order; the details are in the Domain Name Registration Terms.

If you are going to use an existing domain name, the nameservers or the relevant DNS records must be updated. Depending on who manages the domain name, that is done by us or by you.

Before a DNS switchover we send you the required records and the recommended values in writing, and we verify the result together afterwards.

The propagation time of DNS changes depends on the time to live (TTL) of the records and is outside our control.

11. Expiry, renewal and data retention

The service does not renew automatically at the end of the purchased term and no automatic charge is made to your card.

We take care to send a reminder a reasonable time before the term ends. To continue, a new order is placed or a new proforma is issued.

When the term expires the service is stopped. Your data is retained for thirty days from the end of the term, and you may request a full export within that period.

At the end of the thirty-day period the data and backups are permanently deleted; that operation cannot be reversed.

An export request is met within three business days at the latest and your data is delivered over an encrypted connection.

12. Suspension and termination

The service may be suspended if the paid term expires, if the acceptable use rules are breached, if unlawful content is hosted, or on the decisions of competent authorities.

Suspension is applied with prior notice where possible; in urgent cases such as a security breach, an active attack or unlawful content, notice is given afterwards.

The service is reopened once the reason for suspension is removed. The purchased term continues to run during suspension and no refund is made for that period.

You may cancel the service at any time; on cancellation the service continues until the end of the paid period and the refund conditions in the Cancellation, Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy apply.

13. Cancellation and refunds

The right of withdrawal and refund conditions are set out in detail in the Cancellation, Refund and Right of Withdrawal Policy.

In summary: if the server has not yet been opened for your use and performance has not been approved to start, the full amount is refunded. For cancellations after the server has been opened for your use, the amount attributable to whole unused months is refunded; the month already started is not refundable.

Non-recoverable third-party infrastructure and licence costs are deducted from the refund and shown separately in the refund notice.

No refund is made where a service is terminated because of a breach of the acceptable use rules.

14. Availability, maintenance and support

An availability target of 99.9% per month is set for the server infrastructure. The availability calculation, the service credit conditions and the calculation method are set out in the Managed Hosting & Server Service Agreement.

Planned maintenance is announced at least 24 hours in advance and carried out at low-traffic hours wherever possible; planned maintenance windows are not counted in the availability calculation.

Operational support for the hosting service (server, configuration, certificates, backups, performance) is included in the package price. Development and bug-fixing work on the store software falls within the support/maintenance packages or hourly work.

Our support channels operate Monday to Saturday, 09:00–22:00 (GMT+3); critical outages originating from the server are monitored and responded to outside those hours as well.

15. Your obligations

Holding the licences for your store software, theme and extensions and keeping them up to date (if you have not purchased a maintenance package) is your responsibility.

Keeping your admin panel passwords strong, limiting authorised users and removing access for departing staff are your responsibility.

We ask that you inform us in advance about third-party scripts and integrations to be run on the server.

Keeping your invoicing and contact details current is necessary so that renewal reminders and outage notices can reach you.

The version of this document is 1.1. It may be updated with prospective effect; the version in force and approved by you at the time of an order applies to that order.
